Last week we celebrated my husband's anniversary and I made na Egg Tart, which is a traditional portuguese pastry.
Just thought I'd share the recipe with you. It's really delicious :)
Numa taça colocar 750 ml de leite, juntar 5 gemas e 8 colheres de sopa de açúcar e bater bem com a batedeira. Juntar 4 colheres de sopa de farinha, raspa de limão e 1 pau de canela e envolver.
Levar esta mistura ao lume, mexendo sempre até engrossar.
Colocar uma embalagem de massa folhada fresca numa tarteira e picá-la com um garfo. Juntar o preparado e levar ao forno até estar dourada com manchas escuras. Saborear :)
In a bowl put 750 ml milk , add 5 egg yolks and 8 tablespoons of sugar and beat well with an electric mixer. Add 4 tablespoons of flour, lemon zest and 1 cinnamon stick and just stir the mixture.
Bring this mixture to boil, stirring constantly until thickened .
Put a fresh puff pastry packaging in a pie tin and poke it with a fork. Add the mixture and bake until golden with dark spots. Enjoy :)

Quando servirem polvilhem um bocadinho de canela por cima para ficar ainda mais deliciosa!
