Não foi fácil arranjar fornecedor, mas finalmente os mobiles de berço voltaram a estar disponíveis na loja. Espero que gostem :)

Enxoval do Francisco »» Francisco's Layette

Como já aqui tinha dito estou à espera de um bebé lá para Fevereiro por isso mesmo gradualmente tenho andado a lavar e a arrumar o enxoval do bebé Francisco.
Fui buscar toda a roupinha das manas que tinha guardado, mas claro havia muita coisa cor-de-rosa! Elas tinham imensa roupa tanto comprada como feita pela minha mãe numa máquina de tricotar antiga.
Felizmente ainda deu para aproveitar algumas coisas. Mudámos as fitinhas, acrescentámos pormenores em azul e amarelo e assim, tudo o que era em tons neutros vai voltar a ter uso.
Só os vestidinhos é que vão voltar a ser arrumados para elas mais tarde recordarem e quem sabe usar nas suas filhas :)
Para além de tudo o que o Francisco herdou das manas e das várias roupinhas que comprámos, fiz também uns babetes, bordei outros a ponto de cruz, fiz uns saquinhos para levar a roupinha para a maternidade, um prendedor para a chupeta e fiz o nome e um anjinho para colocar no berço.
A mala para levar para a maternidade já está pronta! Fiz trouxinhas de roupa envoltas em fraldas de pano, para ser mais fácil escolher os conjuntos lá na maternidade. Em cada trouxinha está uma roupinha interior e uma roupinha exterior, um casaquinho e uma fralda descartável.
Ainda queria fazer mais coisinhas, mas esta época pré-natalícia deixou-me sem tempo para o enxoval por causa das encomendas de Natal.
Seja como for ainda tenho algum tempo e gostava de fazer uma mantinha de retalhos para a cama de grades. Vamos ver se consigo!

As I already told you I am expecting a baby in February so I've gradually been washing and organising baby Francisco's clothes.
I had kept all my twin girls' clothes, but of course there was too much pink! The girls had lots of clothes, some bought and others made ​​by my mother with an old knitting machine.
Fortunately there were some things that baby Francisco can wear. We changed the ribbons, we added details in blue and yellow and so, everything that was in neutral tones will be used again.
Only the dresses are going back to the storage boxes for them later to remember and perhaps use in their daughters :)Besides all that Francisco inherited from his sisters and the various outfits we bought, I also made ​​some bibs, I cross stitched others, made ​​little bags to take to the hospital with the baby clothes, I made a pacifier clip and sew his name and an angel to put in the crib.The suitcase that I will take to the hospital is ready! I made bundles of clothes wrapped in cloth diapers, to be easier to choose the outfits at the hospital. In each bundle there is an interior and an exterior set of clothes, a cardigan and a disposable diaper.
Still wanted to do more little things, but this pre - holiday season left me no time for it because of the Christmas orders .
Anyway I still have some time and would like to make a quilt for the baby's bed . Let's see if I can!

Chegou esta semana ao Colorado, EUA esta encomenda feita por uma avó para oferecer às suas duas netas este Natal.

Disse-me que todos os anos o Natal lá em casa tem um tema diferente e o tema deste ano são passarinhos! Achei uma ideia muito gira!
