Terminei mais um projecto do meu livro preferido do momento Sew Pretty Homestyle. Finalmente consegui colocar bem um fecho! (não é uma tarefa fácil ... pelo menos para principiantes como eu). Ficou muito fofo e vai passar a andar comigo na minha carteira.

I finished another project from my current favourite book Sew Pretty Homestyle. Finally I managed to put a zipper properly! (it's not an easy job ... specially for beginners like myself). It turned out really cute and it's going to go straight to my handbag.

A semana passada deu-me para arrumações: limpei, forrei e arrumei roupeiros; limpei e arrumei a despensa; e limpei e arrumei a lavandaria. Isto são coisas que normalmente faço quando começa a Primavera, mas este ano parece que ela nunca mais chega.
No meio de tanta arrumação ainda tive tempo para um projecto que também aguardava por dias de sol. Gosto mais de mexer em tintas quando está sol, mas como ele teima em tardar, resolvi antecipar-me.

Last week was a week for cleaning: I cleaned, lined and packed closets, I cleaned and arranged the pantry, and I cleaned and arranged the laundry. These are things that I normally do when Spring starts, but this year it feels like it will never arrive.Amid so much cleaning and storage I still had time for a project that was also waiting for sunny days. I like to paint when it's sunny, but as it insists on hiding, I decided to anticipate myself.
