The world of sewing

I've recently discovered the enchanted world of sewing.
It's funny because I've always had contact with it through my mother and grandmother, but it never appealed to me.
Last Christmas I've received my first sewing machine and decided to have a go.
I started by making cushion covers and little organza bags.
This week I decided to go a little bit further and ventured making my first cover for the laundry basket.

These were the ones that were more difficult to make because I hand sewed them with spangles.
But they are certainly my favourite ones!

Now just peek my laundry basket. Isn't it nice?

Cars Party

This Saturday we've celebrated my cousin's birthday and I've decided to offer the decorations. The chosen theme was Cars and I think it all looked great.




And this was the cake I've made of Cars of course!



I think the kids liked it. And I hope you like it too!

Key rings

The wonderful world of felt

I have discovered felt two years ago and since then I've been making some little things.
Felt is great because it is very easy to work with. I enjoy making mobiles and key rings the most. I love to see things ready in a little time.

Passion for cakes

Still speaking about cakes I would like to share some photos with you. These photos are of cakes I´ve made recently.
All these cakes mean really hard work, but they're worth it! I love looking at a cake and be proud of what I've made.
And of course there's no bigger reward when everybody else says that the cake is beautiful and delicious.
All my cakes are made with the best quality ingredients and decorated with fondant. During the baking process I also add a spoon full of love and affection.
