Peguei no passo-a-passo do saco reversível do blogue verypurpleperson e meti mãos à obra.
E ficou um amor, ora vejam:

Last week I went back to "playing" with my sewing machine.  It was ages since I devoted myself to a project with fabric and a birthday present served as a pretext. I took the reversible bag step-by-step from the blog verypurpleperson and started to work.
And it turned out really sweet:

But I was not satisfied, as I was with my hands on the machine I wanted to do something else. Then I remembered a metal clasp that I had bought and which was at the bottom of a drawer. I think for fear of using it! Fortunately, I found a step-by-step to make the pattern here and another one here!
For a first try it really looks good, don't you think?

I noticed that one of my most viewed posts of recent times is the Pão-de-ló de Ovar »» Ovar sponge cake
But reviewing the post I saw that I haven't shared the recipe with you, and that must be what you are looking for, right?
So as not to continue to disappoint you here is my recipe. But beware!
This cake is super difficult to do because if we remove it from the oven too soon it becomes liquid inside and you can't eat it, if we let it more time there we get a normal sponge cake , ie, dry . It's really hard to hit with the exact cooking time.
This is not to discourage you! I myself have done some that were very liquid, others dry and others ... wow simply delicious : )
But I assure you that it's always worth trying!

So here it goes:

Line a pan (without center hole) with parchment paper.

Put 6 whole eggs + 12 egg yolks in a large bowl, add 250g of sugar and beat with electric mixer for 15 minutes. (I know it seems a lot of time, but the more you beat the creamier it gets!).
After the mixture has grown quite a lot add 125g flour sifted with one teaspoon of baking powder and mix gently. That's it!
And now comes the tricky part:

Pour the mixture into the baking pan with the paper (no need to grease with butter) and bake at 180 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

Note that as I have said this temperature and cooking time works well for my oven, but may not work on yours. You will have to be watching the cake bake. You will know when its ready when it gets some consistency and a golden surface.

This week I made something a little bit different, modesty aside, it turned out super cute : )
A friend of my cousin Sara asked me to make a few birdies to put in a crib mobile that she had. She had a mobile with blue teddy bears (for her son) and now as she is having a girl she wanted a more feminine decoration in pink.
She chose two birds in pink with white wings, two birds in white with pink wings and a little cloud in the middle. We also decided it would be better to make the birds a little bit bigger than usual, to create greater impact.
I really loved making this custom project. In fact I liked it so much that I even ordered some mobile structures to put in the shop for sale with beautiful works of birds, little flowers, butterflies and perhaps even little elephants ...
